During the badminton season from September, we host a junior coaching programme supervised by our own Badminton England Level 2 coach. These sessions are well attended and progression is available within the club and also the league.
Juniors
Juniors are coached by a qualified coach starting on the 12th of September;
Adults
We can refer adults who want coaching to our coach or to any other suitably qualified coaches. In addition, the Kirklees Badminton Network has been set up to promote badminton in the area and sees coaching as one of its primary aims.
The Coach
Our coach Zainal Muhammad is pro-active. He currently liaises with Badminton England and Kirklees Active Leisure to promote badminton in the Kirklees area. He is available for additional coaching either through the club or on private arrangement via his website www.zsports.co.uk. For the more promising juniors, he could progress them to county training if they so wish.
